ABOUT ABOUT

Celebrate the GRASP Research Experience for Teachers (RET) summer program on Wednesday, October 3, 2018! 10 Middle School teachers from the School District of Philadelphia will each present their projects conducted under the mentorship of Penn GRASP PhDs and faculty. These robotics research projects are the foundation for activities and practices they will implement in their classrooms during the school year. The presentations are an inspiring way to hear about the cutting-edge research of GRASP and celebrate the great accomplishments of these School District of Philadelphia Middle School math and science teachers!

During the Symposium, teachers will present for 10 minutes each on their research, experience, and the curriculum units developed in the program in the areas of computer vision, marine robotics, and rehabilitative robotics. Presentations will be followed by a poster session conducted by teachers. Dinner will be served during the event.
